Peter Parker’s visit to Aunt May’s grave in Spider-Man: Brand New Day was filmed at Brookwood Cemetery. The cemetery is in Surrey, England, southwest of London.
Filming took place there on August 7, 2025. The cemetery scenes were among the first non-stunt scenes filmed for the production and helped establish Peter’s emotional situation after the events of No Way Home.
The filmmakers also filmed another take at the cemetery that could be used near the end of the movie. Director Destin Daniel Cretton described that material as a guiding idea for the film’s emotional direction.
Brookwood Cemetery is one of the largest cemeteries in the United Kingdom. It opened in 1854 and is also known as the London Necropolis.
