At what position did the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack debut on the Billboard 200?

The story behind the answer

The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200.

Its first-week U.S. performance included 31,000 equivalent album units, and the album also reached number 18 on the Top Album Sales chart with 3,000 sales. The result made it the highest-debuting soundtrack released in 2025 at that point.

The album later climbed to number three in its second week, showing that its success was not limited to the initial release period. In its twelfth week, it reached number one on the Billboard 200.

This debut refers to the soundtrack album, not to an individual song. Several songs from the fictional groups Huntrix and the Saja Boys also charted separately, creating multiple different chart stories connected with the film.
