Who won the 2023 PDC European Championship darts tournament?

Peter Wright won the 2023 PDC European Championship darts tournament. He defeated James Wade 11–6 in the final at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, Germany, on 29 October 2023.

The title was Wright’s first European Championship victory. It also made him the oldest player to win the event, at 53 years of age. Wright is widely known by the nickname “Snakebite,” referring to his distinctive stage persona and colourful appearance.

The European Championship brings together leading players from the PDC European Tour rankings. It is separate from the European Darts Grand Prix and from the PDC World Championship.
