Arne Slot was Liverpool’s head coach when the club won the 2024–25 Premier League title. He delivered the championship in his first season after replacing Jürgen Klopp.
Liverpool secured the title on 27 April 2025 by beating Tottenham Hotspur 5–1 at Anfield, with four matches still remaining. The triumph was Liverpool’s second Premier League championship and their 20th English top-flight league title, drawing them level with Manchester United’s record at the time.
The main mix-up is with Klopp, who led Liverpool to their previous Premier League title in 2019–20. Klopp left at the end of the 2023–24 season, and Slot arrived from Feyenoord after winning the Eredivisie in 2022–23. Slot became only the fifth manager to win the Premier League in his first season in charge.
