Who voices Samuel Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End?

Troy Baker voices Samuel “Sam” Drake in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Samuel is Nathan Drake’s older brother and a new central character in the fourth main game. He had been presumed dead after a prison escape years earlier, but his unexpected return pulls Nathan back into treasure hunting after Nathan has tried to build a quieter life with Elena Fisher.

Baker’s performance gives Sam a playful, competitive energy while also emphasizing the brothers’ complicated history. The character is not simply a guide for Nathan: Sam’s urgency, secrets, and obsession with Henry Avery’s lost treasure drive much of the plot. Baker performed opposite Nolan North, who returned as Nathan Drake.

A frequent mix-up comes from the game’s other major voices. Nolan North plays Nathan, Warren Kole plays treasure hunter Rafe Adler, Robin Atkin Downes plays Hector Alcazar, and Laura Bailey plays Nadine Ross. Troy Baker is the actor associated with Sam, whose return reshapes Nathan’s final major adventure.
