Marc Guéhi scored Manchester City’s equaliser in their 2–1 comeback against Bournemouth.
Bournemouth led 1–0 after Marcus Tavernier scored in the 26th minute at the Etihad Stadium. Guéhi then headed City level with six minutes remaining.
Joško Gvardiol scored the winning goal in stoppage time, completing Manchester City’s comeback. Rayan Cherki assisted both City goals after coming off the bench.
The match began Enzo Maresca’s reign as Manchester City manager following Pep Guardiola’s departure. It also ended Bournemouth’s run of 18 Premier League matches without defeat, as they suffered their first loss since selling Antoine Semenyo to City in January.
