Who plays Thomas Lockland, the dark warlock, in Practical Magic 2?

Solly McLeod plays Thomas Lockland, the dark warlock, in Practical Magic 2.

Thomas Lockland is described as a dark warlock who uses Kylie Owens’s powers. Kylie is Sally Owens’s elder daughter, and her discovery of hidden family secrets helps push the Owens family into a new crisis.

McLeod is one of the sequel’s new cast members. The other newly announced performers include Joey King as Kylie, Maisie Williams as Antonia Owens, Lee Pace as Ian Wright, and Xolo Maridueña as Kylie’s love interest.

Thomas’s role should not be confused with Ian Wright’s. Ian is an academic who studies the history of magic and becomes Sally’s love interest, while Thomas is explicitly connected to the dangerous use of Kylie’s abilities. The conflict places the returning Owens women against a threat involving the family’s magic and its long-standing curse.
