Who plays Gideon, Kylie's boyfriend, in Practical Magic 2?

Xolo Maridueña plays Gideon, Kylie Owens’s boyfriend, in Practical Magic 2.

Gideon becomes part of the Owens family crisis after Kylie tells him that she loves him. The following morning, he is hit by a car and falls into a coma, prompting Kylie to search for a way to break the family curse and save him.

Maridueña is one of the sequel’s new cast members. His role connects the younger Owens storyline to the older family history because Kylie’s effort to help Gideon leads her toward the Book of Raven, England, and the origins of Maria Owens’s curse.

Gideon is distinct from Ian Wright, played by Lee Pace, and Tom Lockland, played by Solly McLeod. Those characters are adults connected to the magical investigation, while Gideon is Kylie’s romantic partner.
