Who narrated Disney’s 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh?

Sebastian Cabot narrated Disney’s 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

Cabot’s narrator introduces the animated adventures and helps connect the film’s separate story sections. His measured delivery gives the movie the feeling of a storybook being read aloud, matching the film’s framing device involving a book.

The film is a compilation of three earlier theatrical featurettes: Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree from 1966, Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day from 1968, and Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too from 1974. New linking material and an ending were added for the 1977 release.

Sebastian Cabot should not be confused with Sterling Holloway, who voiced Pooh, or John Fiedler, who voiced Piglet. Paul Winchell provided the voice of Tigger in the film.
