Ace leads the Gangreen Gang in the original series The Powerpuff Girls.
The Gangreen Gang is a group of teenage delinquents who appear as recurring antagonists in the original animated series. Ace is their green-skinned leader and is generally portrayed as the gang’s most confident and manipulative member. The group’s name combines “gangrene” with the gang’s green visual design.
Other members include Snake, Arturo, Grubber, and Billy. Their personalities and roles differ, but they usually function as a coordinated group rather than as solo supervillains. Ace occasionally acts independently, and his schemes can involve deception, theft, or attempts to exploit the girls’ trust.
The gang is distinct from major individual villains such as Mojo Jojo, Him, and Fuzzy Lumpkins.
