Who is the rival treasure hunter and betrayer in Uncharted 2?

Harry Flynn is the rival treasure hunter and betrayer in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. He recruits Nathan Drake to steal an antique oil lamp from a museum in Istanbul, claiming the job will reveal the location of Marco Polo’s lost treasure.

Flynn is secretly working for Zoran Lazarević. After the lamp reveals coordinates connected to the Cintamani Stone and Shambhala, Flynn takes the information for himself and leaves Drake to be arrested in Turkey. This betrayal establishes Flynn as Drake’s personal antagonist, even though Lazarević is the game’s principal villain.

A common mix-up is confusing Flynn with Lazarević or Eddy Raja. Lazarević is the ruthless war criminal funding the expedition, while Eddy Raja is a pirate from Drake’s Fortune. Flynn is the character who begins as Drake’s business associate and then turns against him. He later helps Lazarević pursue Shambhala, but after repeated failures, Lazarević shoots him.
