Ezio Auditore is the main protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

Revelations is the final game in the trilogy centered on Ezio. It follows him to Constantinople, where he searches for keys connected to Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad’s former headquarters in Masyaf. The narrative links Ezio’s life with Altaïr’s legacy and Desmond Miles’s modern-day storyline.

Ezio is portrayed as an older and more experienced Assassin than in Assassin’s Creed II or Brotherhood. In Constantinople, he works with local Assassins and becomes involved in conflicts involving the Ottoman succession and the Byzantine Templars.

Altaïr is also playable in several historical sequences, which can cause confusion about the game’s protagonist. However, Ezio is the character who drives the main Constantinople campaign. Revelations was released in 2011 and concluded Ezio’s principal story before the series moved to new historical protagonists.
