Eivor is the main playable character in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Released in 2020, Valhalla follows Eivor, a Viking raider who leaves Norway and helps establish a settlement in England. The player can choose a masculine or feminine presentation for Eivor, while the character's name remains Eivor. The story connects Viking expansion with the long-running conflict between the Hidden Ones and the Order of the Ancients.
Eivor's clan settles in Ravensthorpe, which becomes a base for alliances and upgrades. The English setting includes several kingdoms and regions, including Wessex, Mercia, East Anglia, and Northumbria. Historical figures such as Alfred the Great appear in the narrative.
Sigurd is Eivor's adoptive brother and an important story character, but he is not the protagonist. Raven is the name of Eivor's animal companion, so it is also not the human answer. The game allows extensive customization of Eivor's equipment and appearance.
