Who is featured on Ariana Grande's 2014 single 'Love Me Harder'?

The Weeknd is featured on Ariana Grande’s 2014 single “Love Me Harder.” The song was released on September 30, 2014, as the fourth single from Grande’s second studio album, My Everything.

The collaboration paired Grande’s high-register pop vocals with The Weeknd’s darker R&B style. Its synth-heavy production and sensual lyrics gave the track a more adult tone than some of Grande’s earlier material. The song was written by The Weeknd, Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Peter Svensson, Ali Payami, and Belly.

“Love Me Harder” was part of a particularly successful period for Grande. It became her fourth consecutive top-10 single from My Everything and peaked at No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It also became The Weeknd’s first U.S. top-10 entry.

The Weeknd’s real name is Abel Tesfaye, and the track is credited to both artists. A common mix-up is to associate the song with Grande’s other prominent collaborators, such as Nicki Minaj on “Bang Bang” and “Side to Side,” but neither appears on this single.
