Who holds the men's 200 metres world record at 19.19 seconds?

The story behind the answer

Usain Bolt holds the men's 200 metres world record at 19.19 seconds.

Bolt set the mark at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, lowering his own world record of 19.30 from the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He won the final by a large margin and completed the race in a legal tailwind of 0.3 metres per second.

The 200 metres combines a curved start with a straight finish, making it technically different from the 100 metres. Bolt's record followed Michael Johnson's long-standing 19.32, set at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Yohan Blake ran 19.26 in 2011, the second-fastest time for many years. Bolt also held the world records in the 100 metres and 4x100 metres relay during his career.
