Who abducts Crash and others in Crash Nitro Kart?

Who abducts Crash and others in Crash Nitro Kart? Emperor Velo XXVII abducts Crash and the other racers.

At the beginning of the 2003 game, a mysterious white light transports Crash, Coco, Crunch, Cortex, N. Gin, Tiny, and others to a coliseum in another galaxy. The abductor is Emperor Velo XXVII, the ruthless ruler of that galaxy. He forces the Earth characters into his Galaxy Circuit for the entertainment of his subjects.

Velo promises freedom if the racers win, but threatens to destroy Earth if they refuse. The competition moves through four worlds, whose champions are Krunk, Nash, Norm, and Geary. Defeating those bosses gives the Earth teams access to a final race against Velo himself, making him both the kidnapper and the game’s principal antagonist.

Uka Uka is not responsible for the abduction; he and Aku Aku mainly provide advice during the game. Nitros Oxide is another racer and former antagonist, not Velo’s captor figure. The story also has a twist: after Velo’s defeat, his imposing body is revealed to be a robot suit controlled by a smaller gremlin-like version of himself.
