Which Crash game features four-versus-four teams stockpiling Wumpa Fruit?

The story behind the answer

Crash Team Rumble features four-versus-four teams stockpiling Wumpa Fruit.

Unlike the series’ traditional platformers, Crash Team Rumble is an online team-based multiplayer game. Two teams gather Wumpa Fruit around an arena, then deposit it in their team bank; the first team to deposit 2,000 fruit wins.

The four-versus-four format is central to the game’s design. Characters fill flexible roles: scorers collect fruit, blockers disrupt opponents, and boosters capture gems or gather relics that help the team. Players can also knock fruit out of opposing characters, making defense as important as collecting.

The other options belong to different parts of Crash history. Crash Bash is a party game, Crash Nitro Kart is a racing game, and Crash Boom Bang! is a party title for the Nintendo DS. None uses Crash Team Rumble’s Wumpa-deposit objective.
