Cortex and Nina harvest Mojo in Crash of the Titans. They use this mysterious substance to transform creatures from the Wumpa Islands into powerful mutants called Titans.
The story begins with Doctor Neo Cortex stealing Mojo from an ancient temple. His plan is to create an army of loyal mutants and use them to construct the Doominator, a colossal machine intended to destroy Wumpa Island and help him conquer the world.
Nina Cortex takes over the operation after Uka Uka loses patience with Cortex’s failures. She helps continue the mutation scheme while Coco is captured and forced to work on the Doominator. Crash and Aku Aku must stop the plan and rescue her.
Mojo is also central to gameplay. Crash collects it to improve his abilities, while the “jacking” mechanic lets him seize control of Titans. Wumpa is a fruit collected throughout the series, not the substance harvested for Cortex’s mutation project.
