Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was released in 2010.
Ubisoft released Brotherhood for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2010, with a Windows version following in 2011. The game continues Ezio Auditore's story after Assassin's Creed II and centers on his effort to rebuild the Assassin Brotherhood in Rome.
Brotherhood introduced a major recruitment and management system: Ezio can find potential Assassins, train them, and call them into missions. It also expanded the series with a competitive multiplayer mode, in which players hunted targets while trying to remain unnoticed.
The year is sometimes confused with 2009, the release year of Assassin's Creed II, or 2011, when Brotherhood reached Windows. The original console launch, which established the game's release date, occurred in 2010.
