Which Uncharted game features a playable level set in a cargo plane?

The story behind the answer

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception features a playable level set inside a cargo plane. Nathan Drake boards the aircraft during the chapter “Stowaway,” after chasing it across an airfield in Yemen.

The sequence is one of the game’s signature action set pieces. Drake fights Marlowe’s agents inside the moving aircraft as crates, vehicles, and other cargo break loose. The plane eventually suffers catastrophic damage, forcing Drake out into the desert with a parachute. Naughty Dog designed the scene as a fully interactive spectacle rather than a conventional cutscene.

The cargo plane is connected to Marlowe’s expedition to Ubar, the lost city also known as Iram of the Pillars. It is sometimes confused with the seaplane sections in Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune or the airplane-related multiplayer map in Uncharted 3, but the famous single-player cargo-plane level belongs specifically to Drake’s Deception.
