Which U2 song was written for the 1995 film Batman Forever soundtrack?

“Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” was written for the 1995 film Batman Forever soundtrack. It was U2's contribution to a high-profile collection of music connected with the superhero movie.

The song was released as a single in June 1995 and became a worldwide hit. Its lyrics and animated presentation played with comic-book imagery, fame, performance, and the darker theatrics associated with Batman.

The track was not originally recorded for a standard U2 studio album. It was later included on the band's compilation album The Best of 1990–2000. The song's title is sometimes shortened informally, but its full official title contains four paired verbs.
