Which U2 album was released in 2009 and includes “Magnificent” and “Breathe”?
Answer
No Line on the Horizon
No Line on the Horizon is the U2 album released in 2009 that includes “Magnificent” and “Breathe.”
It was U2’s twelfth studio album and was released on 27 February 2009. The sessions took place in several locations, including Fez, Morocco, where the band explored musical ideas that contributed to the album’s distinctive atmosphere.
The album was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, with additional production from Declan Gaffney. Its songs include “Get on Your Boots,” “Magnificent,” “Breathe” and “Unknown Caller.”
No Line on the Horizon is sometimes confused with Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, which formed a later paired concept. It also preceded U2’s 2009–2011 U2 360° Tour.
