Which two characters were the official mascots of the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games?

Ray of Light and Snowflake were the official mascots of the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games.

The Sochi 2014 Paralympic mascots were two fantasy characters: Ray of Light, who came from a hot planet, and Snowflake, who came from an icy world. Their contrasting origins represented difference, friendship and the idea that people from very different backgrounds can share a common sporting purpose.

The mascots were selected through a public process connected with the Sochi Games. They were designed to complement the Olympic mascots while having their own Paralympic story and identity.

They are sometimes confused with Sochi’s Olympic mascots, the Hare, Polar Bear and Leopard. Mascots from other recent Games include Sumi for Vancouver 2010, Misha for Moscow 1980’s Olympics, and Miraitowa for Tokyo 2020’s Olympics.
