Twitter Lists group posts from selected accounts into a separate timeline.
A List is a curated collection of Twitter accounts. Users can create a list, add specific accounts, and view posts from those accounts together without relying on the main home timeline. Lists became useful for following journalists, sports teams, politicians, scientists, local news sources, or any other defined group.
Lists can be public or private. Public lists may be discovered and followed by other users, while private lists are visible only to their creator. A user does not need to follow every account in a list to read the list’s timeline, which makes the feature different from ordinary following.
Moments are often confused with Lists because both can organize content. Moments curated posts around a topic or event, whereas Lists organize accounts. Bookmarks save individual posts privately, and Communities group users around a shared interest rather than simply creating a custom account timeline.
