Which team won the first Counter-Strike 2 Major, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024?

Natus Vincere won the first Counter-Strike 2 Major, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

The tournament was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from March 17 to March 31, 2024. Natus Vincere, commonly called NAVI, defeated FaZe Clan 2–1 in the grand final. The victory made NAVI the first Major champion in the Counter-Strike 2 era.

PGL Major Copenhagen followed the complete transition from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to Counter-Strike 2. It was also the first Counter-Strike Major staged in Denmark. NAVI’s roster included Ukrainian star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev? No: s1mple was not on the active roster for this event; the team was led in-game by Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen. This is a common mix-up because s1mple is strongly associated with NAVI’s earlier Major success.

The result also gave NAVI a second Major title after its 2021 Stockholm championship.
