Which Counter-Strike map is known for the callout Palace A?

The story behind the answer

Mirage is the Counter-Strike map known for the Palace A callout.

Palace A is a raised interior route leading toward Mirage’s A bombsite. Players commonly use “Palace” to describe attacks, defensive holds, and utility thrown from that area. The map also has familiar locations such as A Ramp, Connector, Jungle, Window, and the B Apartments.

Mirage is a bomb-defusal map based on a Middle Eastern architectural setting. In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, it became a regular part of the Active Duty map pool and was widely used in professional competition.

Palace A is not the same as the similarly named Palace area that may appear in other custom maps. Callout names can vary slightly between communities, but Palace is the standard label for Mirage’s elevated A-site approach.
