Fnatic won the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major at ESL One Cologne 2015.
Fnatic defeated Team EnVyUs in the grand final, winning the best-of-three series 2–0. The event took place in Cologne, Germany, and was one of the major tournaments sponsored by Valve during the Global Offensive era.
The victory was especially notable because it gave Fnatic its third major championship. The organization had already won DreamHack Winter 2013 and ESL One Katowice 2015. This made Fnatic the first team to win three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Majors.
The tournament is sometimes confused with the later ESL One Cologne Major in 2016, which was won by SK Gaming. Keeping the year attached is important: Fnatic’s 2015 victory and SK Gaming’s 2016 victory were separate Cologne events.
