Which Super Bowl did Beyoncé headline for the first time in 2013?

The story behind the answer

Beyoncé first headlined the Super Bowl halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.

The halftime performance took place on February 3, 2013, at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Beyoncé performed a medley of her songs, including “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” and “Halo.”

Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined her during a Destiny’s Child reunion, performing “Bootylicious,” “Independent Women,” and “Single Ladies.” The appearance was Beyoncé’s first Super Bowl halftime headline performance.

Super Bowl XLVII was played between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers. The Ravens won 34–31. Beyoncé later appeared as a featured performer during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show in 2016, but that was not her first headline performance.
