Which studio developed the Xbox 360 launch game Perfect Dark Zero?

The story behind the answer

Rare developed Perfect Dark Zero for the Xbox 360.

Perfect Dark Zero was a first-person shooter and a prequel to the Nintendo 64 game Perfect Dark. Rare developed the title after Microsoft acquired the studio, and Microsoft Game Studios published it as one of the Xbox 360’s launch-window games in 2005.

The game stars Joanna Dark before the events of the original Perfect Dark. It includes a single-player campaign, cooperative play, and competitive multiplayer, making it an important early showcase for Xbox 360 hardware and Xbox Live.

Perfect Dark Zero is sometimes confused with games made by other Microsoft-owned studios, but Rare is the developer specifically credited for this entry. The studio later worked on Xbox projects including Viva Piñata and Sea of Thieves.
