Which Stark daughter trains with the sword Needle?

Which Stark daughter trains with the sword Needle? The answer is Arya Stark. Jon Snow gives Arya the slender sword shortly before he leaves Winterfell for the Night's Watch, recognizing that traditional heavy swords are poorly suited to her smaller frame and quick fighting style.

Needle is forged in Winterfell by the master-at-arms Mikken. Its name is Arya's own choice: she uses it as a pointed joke about the embroidery lessons expected of a highborn girl. The sword becomes a symbol of her identity and independence as she moves through Westeros.

Arya initially trains with Syrio Forel, a Braavosi swordmaster who teaches her the Water Dance, a fast and agile style emphasizing balance, footwork, precision, and speed. Later, her survival requires more than swordsmanship; she also learns disguise and assassination techniques from the Faceless Men in Braavos.

Needle is not a Valyrian steel heirloom like Ice or Longclaw. It is a small, practical sword made specifically for Arya. Sansa Stark is also a Stark daughter, but her major weapon-related connection is to court politics and later her Northern rule, not Needle.
