Which spirit of the Glade does Rayman awaken in Rayman 2?

The story behind the answer

In Rayman 2, Rayman awakens Polokus, the spirit and creator associated with the Glade of Dreams. To reach him, Rayman must collect four powerful masks during his quest against the invading Robo-Pirates.

Polokus is not simply another supporting character. He is a divine, world-shaping figure whose awakening becomes essential to defeating Admiral Razorbeard’s forces. Rayman’s journey through different lands, including the search for masks and the rescue of allies, leads toward restoring Polokus and obtaining the power needed to confront the pirate threat.

The alternatives represent characters from different parts of Rayman’s mythology. Murfy is a helpful guide, Betilla is a benevolent fairy from the original game, and André is the red Lum whose transformation drives the conflict in Rayman 3. In later games, Polokus is also known as the Bubble Dreamer.
