Which Sony console received Palworld in early access in September 2024?

The PlayStation 5 received Palworld in early access in September 2024. The version launched on September 25, several months after the game's January 2024 debut on Windows and Xbox platforms.

Palworld was created and published by Japanese developer Pocketpair. It combines open-world exploration, creature collecting, survival mechanics, base building, crafting, and multiplayer. Its animal-like creatures, called Pals, can help with transportation, combat, and work at the player's base.

The timing can cause confusion because Palworld first became widely known through its Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview releases. The PlayStation 5 edition arrived later, and the game was not released for PlayStation 4. It also differs from traditional monster-collecting games by emphasizing survival systems and industrial-style base management alongside creature capture.
