Which song by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth was written for Furious 7?

“See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth was written for Furious 7.

The song plays during a closing tribute to Paul Walker, who died in 2013 while Furious 7 was being completed. Puth co-wrote the song with DJ Frank E, Andrew Cedar, and Khalifa, and Puth performs its sung sections while Khalifa delivers the rap verse.

Released in 2015, “See You Again” became a major global hit and topped the Billboard Hot 100. Its lyrics and placement connect the film's themes of friendship, remembrance, and family with Walker's role as Brian O’Conner.

The song is often confused with other franchise soundtrack tracks such as “Ride Out,” performed by Kid Ink, Tyga, Wale, YG, and Rich Homie Quan. “See You Again” is specifically associated with Furious 7's emotional final sequence.
