Idris Elba plays Brixton Lore, the villain of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
Brixton is a former agent who has been technologically enhanced and works for the secretive organization Eteon. He seeks to obtain a programmable supervirus called Snowflake, which is carried by Hattie Shaw.
The character is not a member of the Shaw family, despite his surname-free connection to Deckard and Hattie Shaw. Idris Elba brought the role a combination of physical menace and theatrical confidence.
Hobbs & Shaw expanded the franchise beyond Dominic Toretto’s central crew. It paired Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs with Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw and was released as a theatrical spin-off in 2019.
