Jason Momoa plays Dante Reyes in Fast X.
Dante is the son of Hernan Reyes, the main antagonist of Fast Five. In Fast X, he seeks revenge against Dominic Toretto and his family for the destruction of his father’s criminal empire and the death of Hernan.
The character gives Fast X a direct connection to the Rio de Janeiro vault heist from Fast Five. That connection is important because Dante’s motivation is rooted in an earlier franchise event rather than being a completely new threat.
Dante is often distinguished from other major antagonists by his flamboyant appearance, theatrical behavior, and personal connection to the Reyes family. Jason Momoa joined the franchise in Fast X, which was released in 2023 and directed by Louis Leterrier.
