Justin Lin directed five Fast & Furious films through F9: The Fast Saga. His films are Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, and F9: The Fast Saga.
Lin first joined the series with Tokyo Drift in 2006. He then directed the next three main installments, helping shift the franchise toward ensemble action and international heists. After a break from directing the eighth film, he returned for F9 in 2021.
His five-film run is the longest directing contribution by a single filmmaker to the main series. James Wan directed Furious 7, while F. Gary Gray directed The Fate of the Furious. Lin was originally attached to Fast X but left the project during pre-production.
