Which skyscraper in Dubai is famous for rotating residential floors?

The story behind the answer

Dubai’s Cayan Tower is famous for its rotating residential floors.

The tower twists through 90 degrees from its base to its top, producing a distinctive spiral silhouette in Dubai Marina. Each floor is rotated slightly in relation to the one below it.

The design was developed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the firm also associated with several other major skyscraper projects. Cayan Tower was completed in 2013 and was originally known as Infinity Tower.

Its changing floor geometry helps create the visual twist, but the building is not a rotating tower in the mechanical sense. The apartments do not spin; the permanent structural arrangement creates the effect.
