Which singer features on Beyoncé's song “Beautiful Liar”?

Shakira features on Beyoncé's song “Beautiful Liar.”

The single was released in 2007 as part of the deluxe edition of Beyoncé's album B'Day. It is a bilingual pop and R&B collaboration in which the two singers confront the same unfaithful man rather than competing with each other. Shakira sings some Spanish-language lines, giving the track a cross-cultural character.

“Beautiful Liar” was written by several songwriters, including Beyoncé, Shakira, Amanda Ghost, and Ian Dench. The accompanying video was directed by Jake Nava and included the synchronized hip movements that became one of its most discussed visual features.

The collaboration was commercially successful and won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards. It is distinct from “Hips Don't Lie,” Shakira's earlier solo hit, which does not feature Beyoncé.
