Which singer collaborated with Beyoncé on the song “Telephone”?

Lady Gaga collaborated with Beyoncé on the song “Telephone.”

The track appears on Lady Gaga’s 2009 extended play The Fame Monster. Beyoncé provides featured vocals, creating a high-profile collaboration between two of the era’s most recognizable pop performers.

“Telephone” was written by Lady Gaga, Rodney Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels, Lazonate Franklin, and Beyoncé. The song’s lyrics use a phone as a metaphor for feeling overwhelmed by demands and wanting to remain focused on dancing and the moment.

Its music video continues the storyline from Gaga’s “Paparazzi” video and features Beyoncé as Honey Bee. The video became known for its cinematic length, fashion, and deliberately stylized prison-break narrative. The song is sometimes confused with “Video Phone,” another Beyoncé and Lady Gaga collaboration; “Telephone” is the Gaga-led single, while “Video Phone” appears on Beyoncé’s I Am... Sasha Fierce.
