Which Sikh holy city is associated with the Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib?

The story behind the answer

Anandpur Sahib is the Sikh holy city associated with Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib.

Guru Tegh Bahadur founded the settlement in 1665, and Guru Gobind Singh later made it an important centre of Sikh life. The city is especially significant because the Khalsa was established there in 1699.

Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib is one of the five Takhts, or seats of Sikh authority. It occupies the site traditionally connected with the Khalsa initiation ceremony and preserves weapons associated with Sikh history.

Anandpur Sahib is sometimes confused with Amritsar, the home of Harmandir Sahib, or with Nankana Sahib, Guru Nanak’s birthplace. It is also the setting for Hola Mohalla, a major Sikh festival featuring martial demonstrations, processions, poetry, and community gatherings.
