Which Scotch whisky distillery in Campbeltown makes the Springbank range?

The story behind the answer

Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown makes the Springbank range of Scotch whisky.

The distillery is owned and operated by J. & A. Mitchell & Company, a family-owned business. Springbank is notable for carrying out nearly every stage of production on site, including malting, distilling, maturation, and bottling.

Its portfolio includes Springbank, Hazelburn, and Longrow. These labels differ in distillation method and peated character: Springbank is lightly peated and distilled two and a half times, Hazelburn is triple distilled and unpeated, and Longrow is heavily peated and double distilled.

Campbeltown was once known as the whisky capital of the world because of its many distilleries. Only a small number remain, including Springbank and Glen Scotia, making the town one of Scotland’s five officially recognized whisky-producing localities.
