Topshop partnered with Beyoncé to launch the Ivy Park clothing brand in 2016.
Ivy Park was announced as a collaboration between Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green, whose Arcadia Group owned Topshop at the time. The brand debuted in April 2016 as an activewear label combining athletic clothing with fashion-oriented design.
The name Ivy Park referred to Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy and Parkwood Park in Houston, where Beyoncé spent time growing up. The collection included leggings, bodysuits, hoodies, and other sportswear designed for exercise and everyday wear.
Beyoncé later ended the partnership with Topshop and launched a new collaboration with Adidas in 2018. Adidas Ivy Park debuted in 2020, which is why some accounts incorrectly name Adidas as the original launch partner. The question concerns the brand’s initial 2016 launch, when Topshop was the retailer involved.
