Which Rayman 3 power-up lets Rayman fly vertically?

The Rayman 3 power-up that lets Rayman fly vertically is the Throttle Copter.

Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc uses temporary power-ups stored in Laser Detergent cans. The Throttle Copter gives Rayman a special helmet with a small rotor, allowing him to rise straight upward for a limited time. It is mainly used to reach elevated platforms and otherwise inaccessible areas.

The other choices have distinct functions. Vortex changes Rayman’s punches into mini-tornadoes, Lockjaw provides extendable claws for grabbing and electrocuting enemies, and Shock Rocket fires a remotely controlled missile. None of those powers provides vertical flight.

Rayman 3 was released in 2003 and is the third major Rayman game. Unlike permanent ability upgrades, its five main power-ups are temporary, so the Throttle Copter’s flight is a situational traversal tool rather than a lasting change to Rayman’s abilities.
