Which Rayman 3 power-up fires a remote-controlled missile?

The story behind the answer

The Shock Rocket is the Rayman 3 power-up that fires a remote-controlled missile. It is one of five temporary abilities Rayman gains from Laser Detergent cans during Hoodlum Havoc.

After collecting the orange power-up, Rayman can launch a missile and steer it remotely through the environment. This lets him hit distant enemies, activate switches, and reach targets that ordinary punches cannot safely or accurately strike. The ability is especially useful when the missile must travel around corners or through constrained spaces.

Rayman 3’s power-ups replace the permanent ability progression used in earlier games with short-term, situational tools. The Heavy Metal Fist strengthens Rayman’s attacks and breaks certain doors; Vortex fires mini-tornadoes; Lockjaw provides extendable electrocuting claws; and Throttle Copter enables limited vertical flight. The Shock Rocket has a distinct tactical role because the player controls the projectile after firing it.

The name can be confused with ordinary rockets encountered in Rayman 2, which Rayman rides to access areas. In Rayman 3, Shock Rocket specifically refers to the temporary orange power-up and its guided missile attack.
