Which rapper plays Tej Parker in the Fast & Furious films?

Ludacris plays Tej Parker in the Fast & Furious films.

Ludacris, whose real name is Christopher Bridges, joined the franchise in 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003). Tej begins as a former street racer and race organizer in Miami, where he knows Brian O’Conner from the local racing scene.

As the series expands, Tej becomes one of the team’s technology specialists. His role develops from coordinating races to helping plan complex heists, vehicle operations, and international missions. The character is also known for his friendship and comic rivalry with Roman Pearce.

A common mix-up is confusing Ludacris with Ja Rule, who appears in the first film as Edwin. Ludacris is both a recording artist and an actor, but Tej Parker is his best-known recurring film role. Tej’s professional skills become especially important in later installments, when the team’s missions require advanced planning and technical support.
