Which private company built the Dream Chaser spaceplane for cargo missions?

The story behind the answer

Sierra Space built the Dream Chaser spaceplane for cargo missions.

Dream Chaser is a reusable lifting-body spacecraft derived from earlier orbital spaceplane research. Sierra Space developed it to carry pressurized and unpressurized cargo to low Earth orbit, particularly for NASA’s Commercial Resupply Services program. Its cargo version is called Cargo Dream Chaser.

Unlike capsule-shaped vehicles such as Dragon and Cygnus, Dream Chaser is designed to return to Earth by gliding through the atmosphere and landing on a runway. Sierra Space has worked with NASA on development and certification, including missions intended for the International Space Station.

Dream Chaser is sometimes confused with Virgin Galactic’s SpaceShipTwo. SpaceShipTwo is an air-launched suborbital passenger spaceplane, whereas Dream Chaser is an orbital vehicle intended for cargo transport and runway recovery.
