Which Power Rangers team had Zords based on mythological creatures?

The story behind the answer

The Power Rangers team with Zords based on mythological creatures was Power Rangers: Mystic Force. The 2006 season built its entire identity around magic, wizards, legendary beasts, and enchanted machines rather than ordinary animals or futuristic vehicles.

The Rangers lived in Briarwood, a town where an earthquake released forces of darkness. The sorceress Udonna recruited five teenagers and taught them to use magic against the monsters. Their Zords included the Mystic Phoenix, Mystic Dragon, Mystic Mermaid, Mystic Garuda, and Mystic Minotaur. These creatures could combine into the Mystic Titan Megazord.

Later combinations expanded the mythology further. The Mystic Dragon could combine with the Mystic Phoenix, while the Solaris Knight commanded the Solar Streak and the Centaurus Phoenix. The team’s main combined machine eventually became the Manticore Megazord, named after the legendary hybrid creature.

Wild Force is an easy wrong answer because its machines are animal-themed, but lions, tigers, sharks, and eagles are real animals. Mystic Force’s Zords draw directly on creatures from myth and fantasy, including dragons, phoenixes, mermaids, centaurs, and manticores.
