Ninja Storm is the franchise’s tenth television season and premiered on ABC Kids on February 15, 2003. It follows Shane Clarke, Tori Hanson, and Dustin Brooks, three students at the Wind Ninja Academy who become the Wind Rangers after the academy is attacked by the villainous ninja master Lothor.

The season is based on the Japanese Super Sentai series Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger. Its main team eventually expands with the Crimson Thunder, Navy Thunder, and Green Samurai Rangers, while the group fights Lothor’s forces from the underground Ninja Ops base. The Rangers’ machines combine into the Storm Megazord and later larger Ultrazord formations.

A common mix-up is confusing Ninja Storm with Dino Thunder, which also premiered in the early 2000s but debuted in 2004. Power Rangers SPD followed in 2005, while Wild Force was the preceding 2002 season.
