Sangare made an immediate impact on his Brentford debut by setting up Lewis-Potter in the 12th minute. The midfielder’s performance earned strong praise from supporters and helped Brentford establish a commanding opening-weekend victory.
Vitaly Janelt scored Brentford’s second goal before Michael Kayode completed the 3–0 result after half-time. Igor Thiago also had a chance to add another goal but missed a penalty.
