Which mountain range in South Africa is also called 'Dragon Mountains'?

The Drakensberg is the mountain range in South Africa known as the “Dragon Mountains.”

The name comes from the Afrikaans Drakensberge, meaning “Dragon Mountains.” In Zulu, the range is called uKhahlamba, commonly translated as “barrier of spears,” while the Sotho name is Maloti. These names reflect the range’s dramatic cliffs, high plateaus, and jagged basalt scenery.

The Drakensberg forms the highest section of Southern Africa’s Great Escarpment and extends for more than 1,000 kilometres. Much of its eastern highland lies along or near the border between South Africa and Lesotho. Its highest point is Thabana Ntlenyana in Lesotho, rising to about 3,482 metres.

Kilimanjaro is another famous African mountain, but it is a volcanic massif in Tanzania, not the Dragon Mountains. The Rwenzori Mountains are in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while the Atlas Mountains lie in northwestern Africa.
